  • Makes lots of different sounds like 'mamamama' and 'babababa'

  • Understands 'no'

Activity Ideas for This Stage

  • Name everything โ€” 'ball', 'cup', 'dog' โ€” to build vocabulary
  • Read books with simple pictures every day
  • Create obstacle courses with cushions for crawling practice
  • Allow safe exploration of the environment (baby-proofed area)
