Activity Ideas for This Stage

  • Expand vocabulary: add an adjective to everything ('red ball', 'big dog')
  • Read 2โ€“3 books per day โ€” predictable repetition helps retention
  • Encourage independence with dressing: start with socks and shoes
  • Expect tantrums โ€” big feelings, limited words. Narrate emotions
