A prenatal assessment combining a non-stress test (NST) with an ultrasound evaluation of four criteria: fetal breathing movements, gross body movements, fetal tone, and amniotic fluid volume. Each component is scored 0 or 2, with a maximum score of 10. A score of 8–10 is reassuring. Often performed for high-risk pregnancies or when reduced fetal movement is reported.
