💡 Expert Feeding Tips
- • Picky eating is NORMAL at this age. The key: keep offering rejected foods without pressure. No short-order cooking.
- • Toddlers are excellent at self-regulating appetite. Some days they eat everything, others almost nothing. Trust the process.
- • Limit milk to 16-20 oz per day. Too much milk fills them up and displaces solid food intake.
- • Avoid grazing. Structured meals and snacks with defined start/end times teach healthy eating patterns.
- • Make food fun: cookie-cutter shapes, colorful plates, dipping sauces (hummus, yogurt, guacamole).
- • Always sit down to eat. Running around with food is a choking hazard.
